- <p> DIED. Ileana, 82, Princess of Romania and Archduchess of
- Austria, who was forced into exile in 1948 after the communists
- took power in Romania; in Youngstown, Ohio. "The gypsies told
- me I would be `very, very happy,'" the young princess said in
- 1929. It was not to be. She fled her country with a
- diamond-and-sapphire tiara wrapped in a nightgown, and her two
- marriages ended in divorce. She later became a nun in the
- Orthodox Church and established a convent in Pennsylvania.
